Field & Fawn started with a card table at a weekend market and a stubborn belief that everyday objects should be beautiful.
From a market stall to Market Street.
Maya started Field & Fawn in 2016 with a folding table, a box of her favorite ceramics, and a notebook full of makers she wanted to support. People kept coming back, and one good weekend led to a tiny storefront in Old Town.
Nearly a decade later we're a little bigger and a lot more organized, but the idea hasn't changed: find beautiful, useful things made by people who care, and put them in the hands of people who'll love them.
Three things we won't budge on.
Curated with care
We only stock what we'd happily keep at home. If it isn't beautiful and it isn't useful, it doesn't make the shelf.
Local and small
We buy from small makers, many of them right here, and we'd rather pay them fairly than chase the cheapest thing.
Kind, always
To our makers, our neighbors, and everyone who walks in. A shop should feel like a warm welcome, not a transaction.
More living room than store.
We built the shop to feel like the nicest corner of a friend's home. Warm light, a table by the window that changes every week, and room to wander. Stay as long as you like. There's usually coffee.
