Whether you've just adopted your first puppy or you're moving a whole household of pets to a new vet, you're in good hands. Reach out and we'll handle the details, including gathering records from your last clinic.
What to expect, step by step.
Book and share records
Request a time online or by phone. Send us your pet's name and any past records, or just let us know your old clinic and we'll request them.
Arrive a few minutes early
Come a little early so your pet can settle in and sniff around. We keep dog and cat areas separate to keep everyone calm.
A relaxed first exam
Your vet takes time to meet your pet, do a gentle nose-to-tail exam, and really listen to your questions and concerns.
A plan you understand
You leave with a clear picture of your pet's health, any recommendations, and a written estimate for anything that's needed.

- Any past medical records or your old clinic's name
- A list of current foods, medications and supplements
- Your pet on a leash or in a carrier, for their safety
- A favorite treat, and any questions on your mind

We do. Wellspring is a full-service hospital for dogs and cats, with separate calm spaces so neither has to wait next to the other.
What if my pet is sick right now?
Call us. We hold time each day for same-day sick and urgent visits, and we'll tell you honestly if you need an emergency hospital instead.
How do I transfer records from my old vet?
Just give us their name when you book. With your okay, we'll request your pet's history so we start your first visit fully informed.
How does payment work?
Payment is due at the time of service, and you'll always see a written estimate first. We'll walk you through options before anything is decided.
